Dr. Tyler Stocker grew up on the coast in Victoria, TX before attending Texas A&M University in College Station, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Business Administration. During his time at Texas A&M, he was active in leadership roles as a counselor for incoming freshmen and traveled to Nicaragua to help deliver medical and dental care to underserved rural communities. After receiving his bachelor’s degree, he went on to attend the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
During his time at Texas A&M, Dr. Stocker knew he wanted to study healthcare but was unsure which field interested him most. After shadowing and working in different healthcare professions, he chose to focus on dentistry because he enjoys helping others more than anything and appreciates the creativity it allows in his work. Whether relieving someone’s discomfort or solving an issue to enable a patient to smile confidently again, he loves the variety dentistry offers in the many ways he can help his patients. He always puts his patients first by ensuring their comfort during treatment, educating them on their dental conditions, and listening to their input while creating their treatment plans.
Dr. Stocker is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), and Greater Houston Dental Society (GHDS).
Dr. Stocker is married to his high school sweetheart, Bethany, whom he met in 2012. Together, they have a dog named Bear that they enjoy spending time with. Outside of the office, you can most likely find him fishing for redfish and trout along the Texas coast, golfing with friends, spending time outdoors, or rooting for Texas A&M sports teams, the Astros, and Texans.
